1. Photos and reports stay on your device
The app stores selected or captured photos, report titles, work dates, site information, author and company details, and descriptions of work and photos on your device to organize work photos and create PDF reports. It also stores photo order, text and image positions, photo frame positions and sizes, and PDF generation status.
The app does not provide accounts, report uploads to an app server, or synchronization between devices. The operator cannot remotely view reports or photos on your device. The app does not use advertising SDKs, advertising tracking, or its own usage analytics or automatic error reporting.
2. Photo selection and camera permission
The app imports copies of the photo files you choose in the system photo picker. It does not browse your entire library. The operating system may download photos that are stored only in iCloud. Imported copies may retain original metadata, such as capture dates and locations, supplied by the photo provider. The app does not separately collect your device’s current location.
Camera permission is used to take photos for photo frames. Captured photos are stored as JPEG files inside the app and are not automatically saved to the Photos app. You can still select photos without granting camera permission. You can change camera permission in iPhone Settings.
3. Recovery data and PDF History
Photos copied into the app and processing records may remain on your device so they can be recovered if work is interrupted after importing or taking photos. You can retry using “Recover & Clean Up Photos” in the More menu. Copies inside the app that are not used by any report or recovery record are eligible for cleanup.
When saving or sharing a PDF completes, the app keeps a copy of that PDF on your device, along with its version, title, first and most recent share times, page count, file size, and a fingerprint used to compare content. PDF History does not record the destination app, recipient addresses, or recipients’ email addresses.
5. Device backups
Original report data, copies of imported or captured photos, recovery data, previous versions kept in PDF History, and default author and company information remain eligible for device backups. Regenerable PDFs not kept in PDF History and temporary files are configured to be excluded from backups.
Actual backups and restoration depend on your iCloud or computer backup settings and a successful backup. The app cannot check whether a backup has completed and does not guarantee restoration by reinstalling the app. A PDF file alone cannot restore an editable report.
6. Keeping and deleting device data
Data stored on your device is kept until you delete the relevant photos or PDF History entries, or delete the app. The current version does not provide a way to delete an entire report at once. Photo deletion and PDF History deletion are available separately, and you can clear default author and company information. Deleting only a work item returns its photos to the unassigned photos.
Deleting a PDF History entry keeps the current draft and original photos. If a screen or sharing operation is using the PDF, the internal file may be cleaned up after that use ends. Previously generated PDFs not kept in PDF History and unused temporary copies are cleaned up.
Deleting the app also deletes its data from the device. Existing device backups and external copies must be managed at their respective storage locations. The operator cannot delete or recover data that exists only on your device on your behalf.
7. Email inquiries
When you send an email inquiry, we receive your email address for replies, the name displayed in the message, the inquiry, and any materials you attach. This information is used to answer inquiries, investigate errors, and handle requests. When the app opens an email draft, it includes the app name, version, and build in the subject. It does not automatically attach reports, photos, or device identifiers.
Email sent to support@photoreport.work is forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to the operating team’s Daum mailbox. Cloudflare processes sender and recipient addresses and message contents during delivery. Received inquiries are stored in Daum Mail, provided by Kakao. PhotoReport Team receives and handles privacy inquiries and rights requests at the same address.
Inquiry information is kept for the retention period shown in this policy, after which the messages and attachments are deleted. The period starts when the inquiry has been resolved. Where retention is required by law, the applicable legal grounds and period apply. Do not attach unnecessary customer information or site photos, and hide personal information in any screenshots you need to send.
8. Support website and Cloudflare
The privacy policy and support website are hosted on Cloudflare Workers. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes connection information, such as IP addresses, requests, and traffic information, to deliver and protect the website. This is separate from uploading reports or photos from the app to Cloudflare; the app does not provide that function.
The website has no account registration, photo uploads, inquiry submission server, or separate advertising or analytics tools. Workers application logs are configured not to be stored separately. This does not mean that Cloudflare does not process connection information for its own network operations and security.
Cloudflare, Inc. is a service provider based in the United States and uses a global network. The locations and retention of web connection information depend on the service settings, agreements, and Cloudflare policies. Email inquiries pass through your chosen email service and the operator’s receiving email service, whose policies also apply.
9. Apple diagnostics and TestFlight
If you use a TestFlight beta, Apple may provide the operator with diagnostic and usage information, feedback, and screenshots that you submit. Depending on the invitation method and other factors, this may include your name or email address. Diagnostic sharing for the released app also follows your Apple settings and Apple service policies.
This is separate from any automatic analytics or error-reporting server operated by the app. Feedback received by the operator is used only to investigate errors and handle requests. The inquiry retention rules above apply to inquiries and feedback received directly. Data held by Apple is subject to Apple’s separate policies.
10. Privacy requests and protection
To request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of personal information received by the operator through an inquiry, contact the email address shown. We will handle the request after checking the minimum information needed to verify it. You must manage reports and photos that exist only on your device directly in the app.
App data uses the storage area assigned to the app by iOS. Public web pages use HTTPS, and inquiry information is not linked to app users’ report databases. If data processing or the services used change, we will update this page with the changes and their effective date.
